1.3 Health data
Before certain programmes, retreats in particular, we ask questions about your health. We do this for your safety. Health data is sensitive personal data and is processed only if you have given your explicit consent. Consent is given separately, not by accepting these terms.
- Only Patrik Sjöberg Grusell and Gabriella Sjöberg Grusell have access to the data.
- The data is not passed on, except to healthcare staff if needed in an emergency.
- The data is stored in Google Drive, protected by two-step verification and restricted access.
- After the programme we keep the screening documentation for five years, solely so that we can defend ourselves should a legal claim arise. It is not used for anything else.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you do so before the programme we delete the data, but you then cannot take part in programmes that require screening.
1.4 Who has access to the data
We never sell your personal data. Only we at Wevolve, Patrik Sjöberg Grusell and Gabriella Sjöberg Grusell, have access to your data, with the exceptions stated below.
We use Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Forms and Google Drive) for email, forms and documents, via our parent company Lighthouse Stockholm AB. Lighthouse Stockholm AB and Google process the data on our behalf as data processors, under a data processing agreement and Google's data processing terms for Google Workspace.
Invoicing data is handled in the accounting software Fortnox, which processes it on our behalf as a data processor. Our accountant has access to the bookkeeping in order to audit it.
We do not disclose your data to anyone else, with two exceptions:
- when required by law, for example to a public authority,
- if needed to protect your life or health in an emergency, for example to healthcare staff.
1.5 Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Google may process data in the United States. Where data is transferred there, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
1.6 Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you (a copy of your data),
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have data erased, unless we are obliged or entitled to keep it, for example under the Swedish Accounting Act or to defend ourselves against legal claims,
- restrict our processing while a question is being looked into,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest, and always to direct marketing,
- receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability),
- withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect processing that has already taken place.
Email us at gabriella@wevolve.se from the email address we have registered for you. We reply within one month. If we need to verify your identity, we will get in touch.
1.7 Security
We protect the data with technical and organisational measures, including two-step verification on our accounts and restricted access to sensitive data.
1.8 Complaints
Please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se (opens another website).
1.9 Changes
We publish the current version on our website. If we make material changes, we notify those of you who have an ongoing booking.
Section 2
General terms
Apply to all programmes organised by Wevolve. Special terms apply to in-person programmes and to certain individual programmes. Where the special terms and the general terms differ, the special terms apply.
2.1 Parties
These terms apply between Wevolve AB, company registration number 559342-7577, and you as a participant. In programmes for couples or groups, each person is a participant.
If a company or organisation books and pays for a participant, the company is the contracting party. The provisions on ARN and consumer rights then do not apply.
2.2 Booking and agreement
The agreement is concluded when you have received a written booking confirmation from us and, where stated, paid the registration fee. Registering interest is not binding.
By booking, you accept these terms and any special terms. We send you the terms as a PDF with the booking confirmation.
2.3 Content and changes
The content of the programme is described on our website and in the information you receive when booking. We may make minor changes to the programme and its format. We will tell you as soon as possible if we change leaders or make a change that materially affects the content. In the event of a material change, you have the right to cancel free of charge and receive a refund of what you have paid.
2.4 Price and payment
It is stated explicitly whether the price includes or excludes VAT. The price that applies when you book is the price you pay. Payment is made according to the payment terms stated in the booking confirmation.
In the event of late payment, we are entitled to interest on arrears under the Swedish Interest Act and a reminder fee as provided by law. If payment has not been received 14 days after a written reminder, we may cancel the booking. The cancellation rules then apply as if you had cancelled.
2.5 Right of withdrawal
Our programmes take place on fixed dates. The right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Chapter 2, Section 11, point 12 of Act 2005:59) therefore does not apply. Instead, the cancellation rules below and in the special terms apply.
2.6 If you cancel
This applies to programmes without a physical venue, for example online programmes. For in-person programmes, Section 3 applies.
Cancellation must be made in writing to gabriella@wevolve.se.
- More than 30 days before the start: the full amount is refunded, less an administrative fee of SEK 300.
- 30–14 days before the start: 50% is refunded.
- Less than 14 days before the start: no refund.
You may transfer your place to someone else, provided that person meets the requirements for taking part. Let us know in advance.
2.7 If we cancel
If we cancel a programme, you receive a full refund within 14 days, or a place on an equivalent programme if you prefer. We do not reimburse costs for travel or anything else you have booked yourself, except where the cancellation is due to our negligence.
2.8 Health and suitability
Our programmes are exploratory and developmental. They are not healthcare or treatment and do not replace contact with health services. Before certain programmes we carry out a screening. If, after the screening, we assess that the programme is not suitable for you, you receive a full refund.
2.9 Conduct
We want everyone to feel safe. If a participant seriously or repeatedly breaches the guidelines we go through at the start, for example through abusive behaviour, violence or threats, or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs outside the programme, we may exclude the participant from the rest of the programme. In the event of exclusion, no refund is given for the remaining part.
2.10 Complaints
If something does not match what we have promised, you must let us know within a reasonable time after noticing it. Preferably this is done during the programme, so that we can put it right. Complaints are sent to gabriella@wevolve.se. We reply within 30 days. A justified complaint may entitle you to a price reduction or a full or partial refund.
2.11 Own responsibility and limitation of liability
You take part at your own risk. You are responsible for your own physical and mental health before, during and after the programme, and for ensuring that the information you give us, including in screening, is accurate and complete.
To the extent permitted by law, Wevolve is not liable for indirect damages or financial losses, such as lost income, arising in connection with your participation. Wevolve's liability is otherwise limited to the amount you have paid for the programme. These limitations do not apply in cases of personal injury, intent or gross negligence, or in other cases where the law does not permit a limitation.
2.12 Force majeure
We are not obliged to perform the agreement if prevented by circumstances beyond our control that we could not reasonably have foreseen. Examples are natural disaster, extreme weather, epidemic, war, acts of terrorism, decisions by public authorities, strikes, disruption to transport, or serious illness of the person leading the programme. If the programme is cancelled for such a reason, you still receive a refund of what you have paid for the part that is not carried out.
2.13 Communication
We communicate via the email address and phone number you have provided. Let us know if your contact details change.
2.14 Personal data
How we process your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
2.15 Disputes
Swedish law applies. If we cannot reach an agreement, you as a consumer can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), www.arn.se (opens another website). We follow ARN's recommendations. Disputes may also be heard by a general court.
Section 3
Special terms – in-person programmes
Apply in addition to the general terms.
3.1 Scope
These terms apply to programmes with a physical venue, for example retreats, where we have costs for accommodation, meals and premises. They replace the cancellation rules in Section 2.6.
3.2 Cancellation
Cancellation must be made in writing to gabriella@wevolve.se.
- More than 60 days before the start date of the in-person programme: everything is refunded except the registration fee.
- 60–14 days before the start date of the in-person programme: 50% of the total price is refunded.
- Less than 14 days before the start date of the in-person programme: no refund.
Individual programmes may have different cancellation rules. Where that is the case, they are clearly stated on our website and confirmed at registration.
If a booking covers more than one person, for example a couple, a cancellation by one of them applies to the whole booking, unless we agree otherwise.
If you or someone else in the booking, or a close relative, suffers serious illness or an accident or passes away so that you cannot take part, and your cancellation insurance does not cover it, we refund 50% of what you have paid. This applies on presentation of a medical certificate or equivalent.
If you choose to leave during the programme, that is always okay. It does not, however, entitle you to a refund.
For the deeper couples journey, sessions that have already taken place at the time of cancellation are not refunded.
3.3 Travel and insurance
You are responsible for your own travel to and from the venue. You are also responsible for having travel insurance and cancellation insurance.
Section 4
Special terms – Programme with a psilocybin ceremony
Apply in addition to the general terms and the terms for in-person programmes.
4.1 Ceremony with psilocybin truffles
The programme includes a ceremony with psilocybin truffles. The ceremony takes place in the Netherlands, where psilocybin truffles are legal, and in accordance with Dutch law.
Psilocybin is a controlled substance in Sweden. Wevolve does not provide psilocybin in Sweden or outside the ceremony. It is prohibited to bring psilocybin or psilocybin truffles into Sweden.
4.2 Who can take part
Both people in the couple must be at least 18 years old and have completed screening, consisting of a health questionnaire and a conversation, before registering.
You cannot take part if either of you, for example:
- is pregnant or breastfeeding,
- has or has had psychosis, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, or has a close relative with such a diagnosis,
- has serious cardiovascular disease or uncontrolled high blood pressure,
- takes medication that is not compatible with psilocybin, for example lithium, certain antidepressants or tramadol,
- has other contraindications according to our screening protocol.
You must not stop or change medication in order to take part without having consulted your doctor.
4.3 Safety
- At least two trained leaders are present throughout the ceremony.
- We have a procedure for emergencies and contact with local healthcare.
- You must not drive a car or any other vehicle until 24 hours after the ceremony.
- Alcohol and other drugs are not permitted during the retreat.
4.4 Insurance during the ceremony
Check with your insurer whether your insurance covers you during a ceremony with psilocybin. Many policies exclude injuries sustained under the influence of intoxicants.
Section 5
Participant declaration – Programme with a psilocybin ceremony
Each participant accepts the declaration individually by ticking a box in the assessment form.
5.1 I confirm and understand that
- the information I have given about my health, my medication and my mental health is accurate and complete, and I will inform Wevolve if anything changes before the retreat,
- the programme is exploratory and developmental and not healthcare or treatment, and that it does not replace contact with health services,
- psilocybin can bring about strong physical and psychological experiences, including nausea, unease, anxiety, confusion and emotionally overwhelming experiences. In rare cases, difficulties may persist after the ceremony,
- my participation is voluntary and I can choose at any time to refrain from the ceremony or other parts of the programme,
- I will follow the leaders' instructions on safety, including on diet, medication, alcohol and other substances before and during the retreat,
- I must not drive a vehicle until 24 hours after the ceremony,
- psilocybin is a controlled substance in Sweden and I must not take psilocybin or psilocybin truffles with me from the retreat,
- I take part at my own risk and take responsibility for my choices during the retreat. Wevolve's liability follows point 2.11 of the general terms.
5.2 Consent to the processing of health data
Consent is given with a separate checkbox in the assessment form, before you provide any health data. It is separate from accepting the terms:
- I consent to Wevolve processing the health data I provide in the screening, for the purpose of assessing whether it is safe for me to take part and taking my needs into account during the retreat. I can withdraw my consent at any time. See the privacy policy.
- I consent to relevant health data being shared with healthcare staff if needed in an emergency.
